There’s also an option in the store for those who’d purely like to donate rather than receive merch. We want to thank everyone involved in this project for their time and work, as it came together pretty quick, and we want our trans siblings in this fandom to know they are loved and welcomed and supported here!
This is a pre-order and will close on March 31st. Shipment of items will begin a month after orders close.
One week left to order!!
Tomorrow is the last day to order!!
what a beautiful day to remember that bisexual women in relationships with men + bisexual men in relationships with women have every right to attend pride events with their significant other and the concept of ‘straight passing privilege’ should be left in the trash where it belongs
This weekend, activists in Uganda - a country where homosexuality is punishable by death - held their first Pride.
This is the epitome of courage. I have no other words.
Stonewall Riots, June 28, 1969 (and following days)
Happy Pride.
Just a reminder to remember where this started, and remember to give a little nod to the brave people who said enough and pushed back in NYC.
Also a shout out to my new Dutch friend, who, thanks to the overturning of that horrible DOMA and Prop8, gets to stay with her American partner. (Who she met on Farmville. FARMVILLE, y’all. Better than eHarmony, apparently.)
Hugs all around.
Going to Pride? Take Pictures!
Are you heading out to a Pride parade or gathering this weekend? Will people there be decked out in ace colors and waving the ace flag? If so, take pictures! Lots of them! And post them everywhere you can.
Pictures of ace groups at Pride events are a great way to spread visibility. They’ll often get used in articles about asexuality. It shows that we exist and we’re everywhere! It’s also a great way to encourage more people to go nex year. They’ll see your pictures and say “I didn’t know there were aces at [City]’s Pride. I live in [City]! That looks like fun. Next year, I’ll have to go!"
i really hate seeing children at gay rallies. in most cases, they don’t understand what they’re doing and what they’re promoting. i think most children are pressured into going to gay rallies by their parents and, therefore, pressured into believing in gay marriage.
Excuse you, I knew about homosexuality since I was four. With five years I could already argue about it and with six I had a formed opinion. All my motherS did was explain to me what it was, without ever telling me if it was good of bad.
The truth is that is actually easier for kids to understand homosexuality, and maybe even accept it, if they are told about it at a young age.
Yes, maybe the two-years-old kids there are not sure of whats going on, but their parents are raising them to open their minds and accept differences without it being a huge deal.
It’s funny how people don’t mind dragging kids at sundays to the church, to make them sit and listen to things they can’t understand nor question, but it’s so wrong to take them to a walk were they can see pretty rainbows , and later understand what they mean.
This is bullshit.

Not to mention, lgbtqa+ pride is not some outside, abstract concept like religion. Pride parades are celebrations of and shows of support for the right of that kid's parents, whom they see every day loving each other and being loving toward their children, to be together. What kid being raised by loving parents wouldn't support that?!
In fact, June is LGBTetc Pride Month internationally in honor of the Stonewall Riots that occurred at the end of June 1969. Gay pride events and movements — or rather, events and movements supporting anyone who falls under the “diverse sexualities, sexes, and/or genders (DSSG)" umbrella — are not about speedos and rainbow boas. It’s about non-violently defending our right to be here, to be out of the closet, to participate in mainstream culture, and to live our lives as we see fit, like every other adult in the free world. And sometimes non-violence requires a feather boa.
