i see you. i hear you. i’m standing with you.

Oh boy, I really fucking love Travis right now
People tell me I should try to hear the other side of things. They tell me I can’t live in an echo chamber and that people with opposing political viewpoints are not bad people, we just disagree on things.
But when someone on Twitter says that Emma Gonzales, a teenage girl who survived a school shooting, was coached, that she was just spouting leftist propaganda. That shows me a lack of morals. Because of course a teenage girl must be being used as a mouthpiece for leftist organizers, I mean I can’t think of any reason why a TEENAGER WHO SAW HER CLASSMATES AND TEACHERS MURDERED WOULD EVER WANT GUN CONTROL WHAT A NOVEL IDEA.
When people care more about owning guns than they do about children being murdered that shows me a lack of morals. I’m sorry but politics don’t exist in a bubble, this isn’t some abstract thing you debate at a dinner party. This is an issue that affects real people every single day. If you think the right to own guns is more important than the right of people to go to school and work without being murdered THAT MAKES YOU A BAD FUCKING PERSON! I do not care if people think we should hear all sides of the story. I don’t want to hear from people that value guns over human lives.
Props to Bess Kalb (@bessbell on Twitter) for compiling the amount of blood money each of these members of Congress receive from the NRA. Vote to remove these T&P generators.
