Now Thorin watched with growing fondness from the shadows of a pillar that overlooked the private practice grounds. Down below, young Frerin fired shot after shot against a wild blur of white and deep ochre cloth that darted in and around the many obstacles in the gauntlet. It was surprising how their natures reversed entirely when they were in combat; practical and proper Dís had an unpredictable, impulsive wildness when she danced with her blades, and only the bow and arrow could bring out a strict, calculated discipline from the otherwise easygoing Frerin.
BOOM went the headcanon (again). Frerin’s practice arrows are sponged and dyed at the tip (but they still hurt, like colored pellets). Dís wears a headscarf, and passes on her strange ability to dodge arrows like woah. I should tag these. Here:

I don’t think I ever threw this up here! I’m Dis-appointed in myself.
After a lengthy Dis-cussion played itself out, I feel it’s a necessary Dis-traction from all the tension to post some art of some Dwarf lady who might be a princess or something.
There is the post by asparklethatisblue that made me laugh so much and I am like there are two scenerios for them.
Kili - Amad are you mad? Dis - I’m more upset that my sons have been smoking the spice rack for over two years and saw nothing amiss.

Yes I probably have gone a bit overboard with making her look like Thorin. Do I want to change that? Absolutely not.

Also had to draw her with her brothers. Yes, when they are older Thorin and Dis pretty much swap beards.
