Yup.
My group of friends has been watching the movies together in a lead-up to TLJ. One of them really dislikes Rey. Not to the point of swearing about her, but he thinks she’s ridiculously unrealistic and whatever and he can’t stop telling you about it whenever the movie is mentioned.
During Ep I, we got to the battle at the end. Analog blew up the command center. I said, rather calmly and to the group as a whole, “Ten-year-old boy, literally the chosen one from a virgin birth, accidentally gets into this battle and blows up the ship, but Rey is the unrealistic one.”
I wish I had a picture of my friend’s face. Dude has yet to come up with a response.
