MY AESTHETIC-LOVING BUTCH ASS IS REELING. I WANT ONE

i’m not the least bit shy about making people look at my moobs and fuzzy belly, but have to wear a shirt outside in the hottest weather since my surgery, because scars don’t like sunshine. a swimsuit that covers my back would solve the problem. bonus: talk like popeye until people throw sand at me!

Trans Guys | Bind Kinder

The use of ace bandages for binding is not only extremely uncomfortable, its dangerous.  Ace bandages contract around the ribcage, not allowing your ribcage to expand as you breathe, furthermore, putting you at risk for deformed ribs from prolonged use, as well as broken rib bones.  Always use a binder, which is specifically designed for binding and shaping the chest.  Can’t afford a binder? contact Aydian Dowling at [email protected] and get a binder for nothing more than the cost of shipping.

I'm AFAB and I usually end up feeling more on the female side when I get my period, but this time I feel pretty much male and it's only adding to my dysphoria. Sorry, this isn't really a question, I just needed to vent. I really wish I could just have a "desexed" body.

I can appreciate your feelings and can agree with your last statement without reserve!

Anyone else have similar experiences during your periods, those of you who suffer through those?

I used to have hooooorrible dysphoria during my periods! Like I could handle having an AF body, except during those times. The biggest break through for me was getting on depo-provera birth control, which is an injection you get once every 90 days or so and it makes you stop having a period at all. According to my gynecologist, it was originally developed to treat like uterine cancer & such, so it actually makes your body stop producing the uterine lining at all, not like some other methods that make it build up so you have to have a huge period once in a while.

Obviously you need to get with a doctor to figure out if it'd be good for you to try, and some people have migraines on it bc of a reaction to the different hormones in it like any bc, and of course it's not a good option if you're looking to carry biological children any time soon since it takes longer to wear off than other birth controls… Oh and some people think you have to get the injection in your butt, but you don't – I've always gotten mine in my shoulder like any other shot.

But seriously, as far as fighting the dysphoria? This has been the biggest thing for me. It took about 6-10 months for my period to completely go away, but even just having lighter, less frequent periods was a godsend in the meantime, and now it's like that whole gross part of my life is just a distant memory that I never have to deal with again, wheee~

I hope that helps & gives you something to consider at least! Best of luck to you!

Curated by androgynous women for androgynous women, veer nyc will be your one-stop shop for style, design, and culture. veer nyc started as a personal need. We had no place to go where clothing was curated with attention to androgynous style for women, and with the understanding that can only come from fitting the description yourself.

Personally, our interests and needs for andro-accessible clothing will help give depth and understanding to the collections we intend to curate.
