Classic Literature always reminds me that we are not living through anything worse than what has occurred in the past.

Thank goodness I was never sent to school; it would have rubbed off some of the originality.

Trick
There’s a shady trend in some indie book publishing and I can’t tell if it’s genius or disgraceful. More and more no-name authors are giving their books the same title as classic works like: Catch 22 etc. If you don’t check the author in addition to the title you may be buying something completely different than what you intended.
That can be fun sometimes, but not when you’re looking for a specific read. ALSO, an even more annoying trend is for indie anthologies to be “inspired” by famous people so they can splay the famous author/artist/actor’s name on the cover and write ”Inspired By” in fine print, so the first thing most people see is a book by Sylvia Plath or Edgar Allen Poe, when in actuality it has nothing to do with them, and is often second rate writing.
I still can’t tell if this is a genius way to trick people into driving sales up, or if it is a dirty trick akin to false advertising. (Regardless, it’s not my style so no worries here)
