Owl House Huevember based on this post
Trick or treat!
:D
I'm actually quite happy with Dusk's design so here's me sketching to practice it a bit more
son boys
happy halloween 👻🦇🎃
Philip is just like “really, right in front of my salad?”
at least he's not the only one in the house who understands his pain
also this is just more funny in retrospect, because as discussed before, the only reason evelyn would still be here logically is BECAUSE of philip himself, so like....he would have no one to blame but himself
also, combine this with hunter and willow (who he supports and is less annoyed with)
it's double the loving couples hanging around his house now
Bonus:
What kind of costumes would the AROFAM Quartet (Hunter, Belos, Kikimora and Steve) wear for Halloween?
i actually drew this concept awhile back!
Here is the fullbodies
What’s going on with the arofam right now?
ah, the usual hyjinks
today it's dadleb
May I request Archie accidentally scaring people by saying a Belos quote? ...again?
(sorry if I'm being annoying)
oof
Archie really likes halloween, given his identity issues, a holiday where he can be anyone is something that really speaks to him. Especially since it's on earth, where no one knows what he is and who he's a clone of.
Hunter and Willow likes to make him halloween costumes, and i like to think archie liked to sometimes have matching costumes with his parents when he was younger, the cosmic frontier ones with his dad being his favorite.
Hi! is there like an Masterpost for the AROFAM au? ive been reading the ones with the previous and next tagged but idk what comes before that or like the basics of lore and im really confused but the au seems so cool! (im just v obsessed with hunter haha)
Better! i have an archive blog: @areverseoffeathersandmud-archive
pretty much anything and everything for the au can be found here, you can search by name or episode if you want anything specific
Words cannot describe how much l adore your arofam au. I know you started it just before season 2 and all the Wittebane lore was worked in retroactively, but it works so well as a what if scenario? What if Caleb survived that fateful knife fight? With his brother surviving Philip had to face the horrific thing he'd done in a way his canon self never did. Leading him to make choices that still have consequences 400 years later.
And I know you've joked before that arofam Philip suffers so much more than canon, and it's true, but he suffers for The Themes. A lot of his bad situations are at least partially of his own making, and instead of denying accountability he faces it (eventually). At the start he's not what I'd call a "good" person, but he grows and learns and changes for the better. So yeah arofam Philip do be going through it, but he comes out the other side with a family who loves him. Whereas canon Phillip's story ends being mercilessly ground beneath the heels of his enemies.
TLDR: Your arofam au is freaking amazing and I'm low key insane for it.
awwwww that is so sweet! Working on this au, despite all the craziness, has been a blast!
Getting to develop these versions of the characters, put them through their own unique drama and situations, exploring new sides of them....
i am sure this retroactively made me love them more even in the og series, i'm glad you picked up on what i was going for and i'm glad you enjoy it so much!
Philip WAS apparently people's favorite character in this au, and I'm sure that was why
idk, it was nice to do a project where he does develop and realize his faults, and makes up with his brother, it was also nice to have characters interact who'd never do so in canon, playing with their new dynamics and diving into them as characters has been a blast!
one of my proudest and best works, for sure!
it's been fun taking a swap au, and doing my own unique take on it! I love working on it!
Thanks so much for all the support!
can we pretty please have some huntlow and archieeee??? /nf
not exactly the athlete they were expecting tbh
I love when Hunter has baby Archie in the sling carrier thing on his back.
he's a very responsible dad
