You should make a server on filming for beginners and tip and tricks for filming!!
I'm gonna be so real with you - I don't want to make filming overly accessible to beginners because I don't think most people should film
I completely get how hypocritical this sounds but hear me out. Filming is stressful, draining, difficult, thankless, takes away from the experience, and (this is the important one) a crime. I cannot stress enough how much of a risk you are taking when you choose to do this and I think it's very easy for people to get wrapped up in the whole "obtaining content" mindset that they forget that what they're doing can have serious consequences. Not only this, but trying to film and failing can make conditions worse for everyone else, on top of just being a pretty traumatic experience for yourself. It's absolutely not something to take lightly
Live theatre is a magical thing and if it is not something you have access to very frequently, I strongly suggest you put down the camera and just go to have a good time. Take audio if you want. But immerse yourself. I was seeing shows weekly before I even dreamed of filming them and I really don't want to sound elitist but I think that's the level you have to be at in order to make the payoff worth it. Filming can be fun in it's own right but it is absolutely not the same experience
If you understand all of this and still seriously want to get into filming, then all I can suggest is that you integrate into the mastering community. Join our discord servers, have conversations with people, make friends. I promise if you are polite and friendly and mature (i.e not a minor) people will be more than happy to tell you all you need to know
