Quinlan, Luminara, and Obi-Wan Growing Up Headcanons

1.) Qui-Gon was definitely the dad figure that either got the trio into trouble and/or cover for them or he would be best mentor ever out of nowhere which would confuse the hell out of Obi-Wan.

2.) Quinlan and Luminara were friends first and then befriended Obi-Wan when he got initiated at an older age and Luminara was the one to initiate that friendship since Quinlans methods were appealing to Obi-Wans

3.) Luminara was the princess of the group, all the men would do anything for her even though she would rarely ask for help or attention.

4.) Luminara would usually be the one to get the boys out of trouble

5.) Quinlan was Luminara’s shoulder to cry on when Obi-Wan had his Satine phase and he was the first to know of Luminara’s feelings.

6.) Luminara was the only one Obi-Wan found comfort in post Qui-Gons death.

AU In Which Luminara Is Barriss’s Birth Mom

1.) Obi-Wan would be the birth father and he and Luminara would have to pretend Barriss isn’t their own flesh and blood when she begins her Jedi training

2.) Luminara is assigned to Barriss as future Jedi Master at birth as she did not want to fully lose her daughter

3.) Luminara and Obi-Wan spend quality time with Barriss when they can

4.) Only those closest to Obi-Wan and Luminara know the truth

5.) Both Obi-Wan and Luminara are always debating whether or not they made the right decisions and if they should tell Barriss the truth

I’m very proud of my writing and I feel I continue to improve as a writer with each fic. It has always been my goal to create genuine stories that still still feel like it could be part of the Star Wars universe and from what I’ve gathered from the feedback I’ve gotten over the years, many people love what I’ve been publishing so far and I’m eternally grateful for all of it and I love every single one of my readers 💚💙

19.) What headcanon do you always include in your stories?

That Luminara is the biggest Barrissoka shipper and is always pulling strings to get her daughter Barriss to just come to terms with her sexuality and just date Ahsoka (who she still keeps a close eye on but loves and adores her anyway).

28.) Which fic is closest to your heart?

It’s a tie between “Luminara and Barriss” and “The Padawans”. “Luminara and Barriss” is my current ongoing piece that I feel may be my best work yet and I’m very proud of it and love writing it so much, however at the same time “The Padawans” will always have a special place in my heart because it’s a story @devondeal and I collaborated on well before we even fell in love and that story is forever gifted to her and I’m also incredibly proud of it and so grateful for all the love it has received over the last few years.

Hello there! 🤗 Ask and you shall receive! I love that you also love the idea of Mace and Luminara possibly being Padawan siblings because we don’t really see that in Star Wars and I think it would be the cutest thing ever and I like how some fic writers nowadays are utilizing this idea into their work now. Here are some headcanons I’ve had about the two of them and their relationship.

1.) They 100% meet with each other often for some tea (or an adult beverage depending on the day) and talk about their girls (Depa and Barriss) and their Master. With their age difference, Luminara is definitely the one to constantly ask for advice on how to raise and teach Barriss.

2.) Luminara’s need for perfectionism drives Mace crazy. For as long as Mace has known his little sister, Luminara has always been the goody two shoes girl where he was more rebellious when he was younger. This perfectionism runs into adulthood and Mace is always having to tell her to chill out .

3.) They are complete opposites when it comes to everything. Luminara likes to things like speeder biking all over Coruscant and hanging out with her friends whereas Mace likes a quiet evening in with his plants and a good holobook. Luminara enjoys romance, Mace is more aromantic. Luminara enjoys using the Force more whereas Mace prefers lightsaber first. Luminara prefers a more defensive lightsaber stance where Mace takes on Vaapad and so on. Yet they still have common ground with their girls and they care and respect each other nonetheless.

4.) Mace has offered Luminara to be on the Jedi High Council but she turns him down only to be fully committed to Barriss (plus she doesn’t really enjoy politics).

5.) Mace and Luminara both know how to dance as dance is rich in Mirialan culture and it was important to their Master that they learn.

6.) Luminara is secretly the only one Mace would trust with his Padawan and grand Padawan. Thus had Luminara lived, she would have had Maces blessing to continue his lineage.

7.) Mace deeply felt for Luminara and was hurt by Barriss having fallen as he feels he could have saved her. He goes easy on Luminara and lets her grieve how she needs to.

8.) Mace is protective of Luminara when it comes man or woman that expresses romantic interest in his sister.

9.) Luminara was very angry with Mace after Obi-Wans fake death as she truly felt that she lost a man she loved very much.
