I don't think a book from the og series in andrew---or anyones---pov would be as good. a chapter or two maybe, but I don't want it totally rewritten. I see a loooot of people bitching about it and I just don't get it

tsc is so good because it shows how much nora has grown as a writer. the creative freedom she has in tsc with all the new characters shows how much growth she's gone through and how much her writing has improved. the plot is better put together, the characters are more fleshed out, etc. I still love the og series and the Foxes and they're extremely dear to me.

but if she went back and rewrote tfc from andrews pov, I don't think it'd be as good. nora wouldn't have as much creativity, she'd have to stick to the original plot and behaviours. its not fair to want that from her when it has been 10+ years. she deserves to show off how much growth she's gone through.

jean deserves a story, and nora deserves not to be confined to just one creative outlet. let her write other books in the same universe. let her explore her universe and her characters. we are LUCKY to be able to read these books. this is a gift from author to reader, so stop treating her like she killed your goddamned dog when she chose to write about jean instead of Andrew.
