One time, when I was living in Georgia, I was spending the night one of my friends house during the middle of this massive storm. Which might sound weird but it wasn’t too big a deal considering we lived right next to each other. Now this was like, a really bad storm. I’ve lived through both blizzards in New England and now the insane weather system that is the Chicago Suburbs, and I still consider this probably the worst storm I’ve been through. Countless people’s houses were destroyed by trees, you’d literally risk being blown away if you stepped outside, there was a lightning strike ranging from one every few minutes, to every few seconds. Now my friend’s parents were divorced, and my friend lived with his dad. His dad wasn’t the best of cooks, and we wanted food so my friend suggested “Let’s order pizza!” And we just stared at him like, are you insane? Who the hell would come in this kind of weather?? So eventually we’re like it’s worth a shot, so like 20 minutes later we see a car driving up, and this pizza guy stepping out being blasted by the onslaught of torrential rain, and we just feel so awful like how could we do this, and while he’s coming up the steps, the TORNADO SIREN STARTS. And then the guy comes up and we’re like “OH MY GOD WE’RE SO SORRY WE DIDN’T THINK YOU’D ACTUALLY COME.” And he was just like “Eh, there was no traffic so this was actually one of my easiest deliveries” And we were just Pizza delivery guy what shit have you witnessed.

Hey Jax, I remember you saying a long time ago that there were 2 tropes you always see and it always takes you out of the story and pisses you off. Do you mind if I ask what were they?
Oh yeah sure. The 2 tropes that always piss me off are
1) The Villain’s motivation over the death of a crush
and
2) a Hero who absolutely no matter what will not kill and whines about it.
Those 2 tropes annoy to me no END Every. Single. TIME!

This trope pisses me off cause its like. Really thats it. Im not talking about losing someone they love like Mr. Freeze who’s my fav batman villain.
who lost his wife and then when she finally came back to life, she moved on and had her own life leaving him behind. Mr freeze is in his right because the only reason he became the way he is was because he was trying to save her in the first place.
Or if a Villain loses family, like a child or they’re whole family
they are in their right to me.
But if a villains motivation for becoming evil is because their crush who didnt reciprocate their feelings dies or they kill them. I’m just like “really bitch you couldnt get over that and you murdered how many innocent people cause of it” i find that so petty and pathetic and I can’t behind their goal whatsoever.

Batman, Spider-man, Aang, etc. I love you guys but COME THE FUCK ON!
Personally I just love Heroes who get the Job done. Honestly this is why I love Wonder Woman
She’s a warrior. But my main thing is this, if there is someone who is a colossal threat and you leave them alive where they easily escape and murder people again It Bugs me. And honestly I am SO FUCKING TIRED of that BULLSHIT EXCUSE THAT I SEEM TO HEAR IN EVERY GODDAMN SHOW THESE DAYS

God Shut the F**K UP, Spider-man is my favorite hero and i love Batman but Carnage and Joker massacre women and children through the entire city gleefully.
and one of things I ABSOLUTELY HATE, is when an alternate Universe version Kills that Bad guy, then become like an insane dictator.
In my opinion sometimes its wrong to kill somebody, but sometimes its necessary. Someone who refuses to kill another may appear to be morally righteous, but they’re really just selfish. They are unwilling to set aside their conscience, beliefs, and sense of self-righteousness to save innumerable people’s lives. Their own guilt and feelings are prioritized over others safety. So I believe that killing is wrong morally, but in reality, sometimes morals and guilt need to be set aside for the sake of others. Wolverine
is the type of hero who will do it then be like “Yea okay slap me on the wrist….I’m not sorry though bub”. Ehh it was just something I was thinking since I just watched them. Anti-heroes For Life Lol

And thats what I love Heroes who take action and finish the job and nothing makes them think “Oh Im a bad person now” No they go “I did what I had to do, the earth safe. Time for a BBQ”. Now I’m not saying do it to petty criminals, but serious threats like Carnage, The Joker, Darkseid, Thanos etc etc. who easily escape everytime you lock them up and do more damage I’m sorry you DO NOT leave them alive so they can come back and Kill more innocent people!
I think this is one of the major reasons I prefer Anime Heroes over Mainstream Superheroes. they get the Job done.

DC Heroes, Now heres a key thing. Im saying JUST Heroes for DC because Batman is one my favorite Heroes, but I dont consider him a superhero since he doesn’t have super powers.
