-Incredibly Awkward Transitions and also felt very Sporadic
-Lack of emotions in the faces is really felt during scenes that need it
-James Earl Jones didnt sound enthusiastic to be Mufasa compared to his original portrayal, Though it could sadly just be an Age thing.
-Practically Shot for Shot remake with the Original minus a couple scenes so its sorta like "Why? I can just stay home and watch the Classic"
Honestly I really enjoyed the new #thegrinch film. Wasn’t anything special or anything but made me feel warm inside, I mean I enjoyed the Jim Carrey Grinch film so I figured I’d have fun with this, didn’t go in with no grand expectations so I got what I thought I was gonna getI liked Cindy Lou Who a lot, I liked his relationship with Max & I liked his motive was from sadness instead of anger, and honestly some parts hit an emotional chord on me cause something I talked to my therapist about was brought up in the film & hit my heart from relevance 😭😂If I take my personal biases out I’d say it’s a decent Christmas rental of an Xmas movie, but with my biases it’s a low Double Toasted Full price high matinee to me, I honestly did enjoy it
Book 4: was decent nothing great to me like Book 3 was.
Though I LOVE watching Korra with my Bisexual friends because I’m always curious their interpretation of Korra and Asami hooking up and honestly I’m surprised at how different opinions can be. Note I’ve tried this with 20 different ones and down the middle half in half its different lol
Half think it felt natural and planned you just gotta watch it and look for that stuff so they are ALL for it and the other Half of my Bi friends feel like it was sorta crowbarred in or they were just friends and they didnt feel it fit.
AND I Just love watching both parties discuss it with each other cause I as straight man saw it as friendship but when they hooked up I was just like NICEEE. But the comics go in further detail so its whatevs.
But thats all I thought about Korra, I thought it was good show but still think Avatar was better all around tbh
Dragon Ball Super was like that 1 Old Athlete who saw younger kids inspired by him doing great things, so they decided to be like
"Lemme show you young ones how its done"
& you think "Yea the legend is gonna show us"
only to realize while he still had some flair and maybe a few new tricks, he's now quite a bit stale & predictable.
BUT While DragonBall will always be great we've seen a lot of these shows that were influenced by it come along & do it better for a time being so when we are used to all these new shows inspired & influenced by the G.O.A.T you expect them to have leveled up when they come back.
Oh well we got the new movie so hopefully that one can truly be great in writing, story, action, and mindblowing

I didn't let myself get overhyped for this film like I did with Spider-man 2 (2004) & Wonder Woman which a lot of people loved but I was meh on tbh and I wasnt in the mindset of mehness like when I saw Justice League. I was just looking forward to a decent film and Like I thought it was gonna be ,it was a good movie.
#dragonballfighterz 💯% completed. 😂 haven’t been so invested in a game since I was 16 years old so good job. I would say the game is almost perfect to me but I will openly admit it’s the first #dbz game in 11 years that I F*CKIN LOVED & had tons of fun with. Well worth the wait👌🏾🔥 #fighterz
Now I’ve been posting about this for a while but honestly I just gotta give this its own blog post. Now As many of you know I LOVE DRAGON BALL its the main reason I even train today and got me to be confident stronger and just feel better as a nerd.

Real talk I sorta do kinda want DragonBall Super to end I KNOW IT WONT because its a cash cow but ya went on 3 years with a 100+ episodes and reinvigorated DragonBall even more so respect.But going any further than the literal Gods of everything is out there even for DB to me.
In my humble Opinion. I’ve gotten the same spectacle fatigue I got when reading Spawn & he FOUGHT the LITERAL GOD & Satan.
When you introduce characters who can wipe out a universe by sneezing or winking and you have to battle/defeat them & try to introduce people stronger than that, That's when I start to go “this is kinda dumb"
Like for Gurren Lagann THEY ENDED that SERIES AND THOSE MOVIES WITH F*CKIN GOD MECHAS AND GOD FIGHTS Chucking GALAXY SHURIKENS at EACH OTHER. IT WAS INSANE BUT EPIC, but if they decided we’re gonna keep adding STRONGER THINGS than that, I honestly just go well thats just silly.
Honestly its sorta like when you’re a kid playing a game at Recess with your friends and you make up a ridiculous super power that can OWN everyone just cause and when that power loses you keep making counter powers because you’re that one cartman kid who has to win everytime.

Also THE Movie has a STRAIGHT UP Cliffhanger ending that the sister from the 1st movie will come back w/ everyone who fought it &Obliterate it....THAT SHOULDVE BEEN THE MOVIE PART 3 WAS NOT PART 4, THIS WHOLE FILM was F*CKIN FILLER. Nothing we didnt already know . I guess being Jail did nothing to help the director’s productivity but still this movie was a waste of a time a Good Ol F*CK YOU!
Just finished Stranger Things 2 and Wow just.....wow...
IT WAS SO FUCKIN AMAZING LIKE GODDAMN! I LOVED IT AMAZING WORK to the Duffer Brothers and their team YOU ARE ALL PHENOMENAL! I know its getting another season which is great but if this was the finale I'd be F*CKIN SATISFIED!
Me as person who FUCKIN HATES CLOWNS with a passion was skeptical to go see it. No BS even Harley Quinn gives me the creeps, I'd still smash but she's still creepy. But as a Horror fan I really enjoyed it, I'd say its easily better than the 90s Mini series though Tim Curry will always be great. Though I will say after watching Stranger Things it does feel like a movie version of that although you wouldnt have stranger things without books/movies like the original IT. The actor who played Pennywise was great and the CGI effects were awesome.
Also the chemistry between the kids was great to watch and I had fun. Though a few jump scares got me bad. I'd honestly give it a spill/double toasted rating of Full Price. Def worth the watch and the ending gets you hyped up.

I’ve been holding off answering this because I’m not that articulate with my words and I wanted to make sure I had everything I said right. Here are my thoughts. People don’t typically listen to me or take me seriously when it comes to this stuff but I feel I deserve to post my own opinions up too.
When I found out who won the election I was extremely disappointed. Disappointed in the outcome. Disappointed in the system. I didn’t sleep very well either. I was very sad.
As today went on I grew even more disappointed. I was disappointed in many of my fellow democrats or even liberals. Not all of you, but many of you, have really shown a shameful side. You talk about how Trump is a bigot. He’s hateful, disgusting, embarrassing etc. but when your chosen candidate loses so many of you do the same thing. Spouting hate from literally every orifice you can find. I’ve seen so many of you say that you will unfriend anyone who voted for Trump even family. Wow. I thought the democrats and the liberals were about accepting all ideas, but when it comes to ideas from people in our own country, if they don’t match our own we try to shut it down in an instant.
I get it. Your angry. Many of you, especially from communities that have struggled with hate, feel fear. I get that. I will never feel it the way you have but I do get that you are afraid and angry. But don’t let anger and fear control your actions or your words. Take a step back and look at how you’re acting. You’re acting exactly the way you claim republicans are. You’re acting the way you don’t want people to act towards you. Stop being hypocritical. We often accept people from other countries in many ways but when it comes to the people in our own countries we want to force them to think the same way. We’re different here too and we can’t forget that. We’re different here more than many if not all other countries. I mean this from both sides. Both sides are guilty of this.
We aren’t all going to agree but that’s the beauty of the United States. People who voted for Trump felt the same way about Hillary the way you felt about Trump. Have some compassion. I know many people who voted for President Obama twice who voted for Trump. I don’t understand why and probably never will because I feel so strongly about something I doubt they will change my mind. You are the same way. You feel so strongly that Trump is the worst thing that could happen. They felt those same emotions, just as strongly.
Stop being angry. Let yourself be a bit sad if you want to but stop spreading hate.This is exactly why we didn’t want Trump in office, because he spreads hate. Well obviously you didn’t Trump to do that. More than ever we need to come together as a country. Truly loving something means all of its flaws. I do love the United States of America. It’s frustrating at times. Sometimes I want to leave but I’m proud of it. People come from all over the world to see this place.
Let’s show them it’s not our leader who makes it great but the people.

Let’s celebrate the fact that the United States is already a great place. Let’s celebrate that everyone who voted yesterday voted for what they thought was the right. Have respect for the people who fight for what they believe is right. Just because Trump will be president doesn’t mean all of the good President Obama has done is going to be erased. We voted and we lost this time.
Just because voting is over doesn’t mean we’re defeated.
If you feel so strongly about LGBT rights, recognizing the discrimination of my fellow minorities, helping people in need etc then don’t stop fighting for it. In the words of Henry David Thoreau,
“Even voting for the right is doing nothing for it. It is only expressing to men feebly your desire that it should prevail.”
Well you’ve shown people what you believe now keep fighting for it. Live your own life the way you think is right, let other people live their life the way they think is right.

Hey Jax, did you see Suicide Squad? If so, what is your opinion on it? I loved the movie, but Leto's Joker was underwhelming. Ledger set the "psychopathic clown guy" bar way to high.

No, Okay heres the thing in 2 minutes of screen time for the Dark Knight 2008 trailer Heath Ledger sold me as the joker and his additional scenes cemented that to me. and people were DESTROYING Him before even seeing his performance but he sold us in the trailers
But Leto’s joker even in the trailer’s kept me saying I’m just not seeing you as the Joker, A Psychopath sure but not the Joker. I see him more like being in the gang the JOKERZ from Batman Beyond
He didnt have anything memorable like Jack, Mark, Heath or Hell even Caesar
and honestly I have to admit Im glad they cut his scenes, All the scenes he had in Suicide Squad made me just annoyed at him tbh. I really didnt like him as a character and honestly dont want to see that much of him anymore.
