MOTIVATION MONDAY!
Hey Jax congratz on all your YouTube success I was wondering do you any tips on how to not give up when you're only get 7 views day. I want to grow my channel like you and you really inspired me :)
Well thank you for the kind words it was a bit of a long but fun way. Well I’ve had many friends and acquaintances give me their own advice on growing and there are TONS of videos on this topic so I’ve personally taken an Amalgam of knowledge to be successful and I don’t consider myself super successful just yet but I’m getting there gradually.
So one piece of advice I got that always stuck with me. Is imagine you are presenting in a Auditorium that can potentially hold thousands of people.
So you’re going to present your video to all these potential people and out of the….lets say…..5000 people who could potentially show up. only 5 show up.
Now you have may a tendency to look at the Back door and be like
“Okay well thats 5 of you but is anyone else showing up”
and you stare at that back door. But if you decide to focus on the 5 people who showed up. Those 5 people who supported you and you’re gonna give your best presentation no matter what, that says a lot about you as a performer and for your character.
Like you could be like “oh im only getting 5 people to show up so I dont have to try as hard” but thats not the way to go. If you give your best people will appreciate you even more and those 5 people will tell 5 more people and they will spread and the fact that you are giving quality stuff even though not many people see it. Will pay off. That also goes into my thing of talk to your audience. Like if someone comments just a nice comment back will make your subs like you even more. You dont have to comment to EVERY SINGLE ONE AS IT can be overwhelming but just commenting and responding makes people enjoy you and hell you might make someones day just by responding you never know.
Also consistency is THE BIGGEST KEY! I probably could’ve grown my channel a lot faster if I was more consistent for example I’ve mapped out my Youtube Channel layout
2011-2012 I just uploaded Random content than some folks enjoyed
2013- I started my Tough Like the Toonz series also I did pretty good consistently at the beginning of the year but after August I slowed down.
2014- I uploaded a total of 4 videos that year
2015- I started being consistent again in March but my laptop busted and that year was just a sad depressing year and I fell off my consistency wagon and started uploading once a month instead of every week.
2016- was the year I belted down and started uploading every saturday at 10am no excuses and then low and behold my One Punch Man video goes viral and now a Bunch of people have found my channel and see that I have all this content they can watch and start marathoning my stuff.
Ya see this happens all the time a video will go viral and then people look at the channel and they dont have anything so they were just a one hit wonder. But if you’ve been consistent and hit it big then people will start watching other videos of yours and liking it.
For example I used to get 1000 views a week on videos I spent DAYS working on and I was like “Damn well gotta stay positive and keep moving forward” and then when that one video made it big. Those videos I put a lot of work in started shooting up in views as well. so It paid off. So Always give your best content dont slack.
NEXT make videos you enjoy just as much as your audience.
For example most Youtube Channels have 1 series thats their Bread and Butter.
Screen Junkies has Honest Trailers
Teamfourstar has DBZ Abridged
HISHE- has How it should have ended
ScrewAttack- has DEATH BATTLE
etc
For me my series that everyone enjoys is. WOULD THAT WORKOUT? where I use my Knowledge of Fitness science and personal training to analyze a fictional character’s routine and see if it would work in real life. All of those videos have 100k + views
All those video series i mentioned. MINE INCLUDED take a lot of time to make from research, animation, editing etc so of course they are very popular
But if you did them ALL THE TIME not only would it be tiring but you’d get burnt out making a series you once enjoyed
Its just as IMPORTANT to make content you have fun making than just becoming a slave to what the audience wants.
And then of course what everyone else says be unique and stand out and try to find your passions but also don’t be afraid to learn.
Some people become so full of PRIDE they refuse help, advice or to learn and I personally am not that way. Hell I learned a lot of editing and timing cues just by watching @saberspark & @paleosteno. My buddy Qaaman’s Land helped with editing and consistency and then I took some advice from a few college friends. Also humble yourself down to learn. Thats the best way to grow and good luck to you
When you were fat did you have any quotes that kept you motivated to reach your goals.
Yea I actually saved a whole bunch of quotes so I could keep myself disciplined so it be too many to count but one of my favorite quotes to keep me consistent with my diet was
“I may look like a lumpy potato now. But one day I’ll turn into fries and you’ll all want me then.”
Something kinda cool I wanted to share
Something I found Awesome and Cool to share and been showing all my friends. Found this in my Anatomy and Physiology Slides talking about how Smoking affects your Health and the Respiratory System (how you breathe) and basically at age 25 that is the PEAK of our Respiratory system though they said if you train consistently (without smoking) it could extend five more years But Physiologically speaking thats when you are at your Best Bodywise and then a slight decline begins to happen just from aging. But if you're a regular smoker it goes down much faster and even if you quit the damage has been done and it can't go back to normal. It'll always be lower than what you couldve been but if you do quit you can still do Something and keep yourself from getting any worse but a Regular one just keeps going Downhill. so if the Zombie apocolypse happens its most likely their ass.
The slides even said that some people think they're good and still feel healthy cause they do a lot of cardio/workouts and it does help keep the lungs healthiER than lack of activity but it doesn't stop the deterioration from the smoking. Just somethin I wanted to share. Show it to your smokin buddies if they are trying to quit and be healthy haha
Idk how to Link the Powerpoints from my A & P but Ill try and find a way
So I was wondering if you had any advice for me. I've tried and failed multiple times to work out regularly. I usually do fine for a few days, but then stop. Do you have any tips on keeping myself accountable?
Okay Chaosmaster You need to focus on buildingDiscipline and CONSISTENCY.
Now think about why you personally want your fitness goals. Literally write them down. Also I want you to remember this, once you begin to quit, it becomes easier and easier to keep quitting.
Now I apologize in advance for a lil bit of language but its how my friend really got the memo through to me and how I stopped being so soft in areas of my life that need me to be strong, So I’ll pass it on.
When you quit, It becomes a habit, becoming a BITCH is habit forming (and thats not the derogatory term for women im using.)
Let me give you an example,
You say
”i want to workout“ but you spend all night awake so you sleep in and skip your morning workout, then you push it till noon, then push it till the evening and then you bitch out on it.
Then you start bitching out on other things like “I could eat this clean healthy meal from all the health food I have at home But these brownies and cake look tasty so ill wait till tomorrow.”
I try not to quit anything anymore. I literally bitched out on getting my shoulder healed because i was lazy and bitched out on workouts till I looked in the mirror and straight called myself out on it and fixed it. then you keep building bitch habits you will bitch out on big areas of your life. Dont Do that, The times you dont wanna workout or say you cant, Is bullshit because a 1 hour workout is 4% of your day.You have time and those are times you must not quit. Build strong habits that build integrity, and self confidence and MOST Importantly Stay Consistent and Stay disciplined. Will power is like any other muscle it has to be trained
if you keep forming bitch habits then thats what you will be. Sorry for the swearin but Honestly I’ved found tough love is the best one that will get you back on track. Now don’t go find your Motivation find how you can stay disciplined and consistent whatever it is, and Don’t quit it, Don’t bitch out and you can overcome anything life puts in your way.

DAY 5 of 2weeks of sweat challenge completed Rockin the Dash hoodie. Some brisk walking💦😌 you can't train balls to the wall every single day. Lol that's a good way to get injured. So today I just took a nice scenic brisk walk around the neighborhood for a few miles. It was very therapeutic and I listened to my audio books. Thanks Mike for the tip 💪😉👍 #fit #fitnessaddict #fitness #training #exercise #pony #discipline #challenge #consistency #me #fitspo #fitlife

Do you have any tips for a flatter stomach?
Consistent clean eating and Consistent exercise.
sadly YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE FAT, ya know only lose fat from one area at a time anyone who tells you that you can is FULL OF BS or just ignorant
Fat is one big nasty organism over your entire body and it comes off Gradually
to give you and example here
Each picture was taken once a week for 16 weeks so you see the Gradual fat loss I went through. Starting at 196 lbs and getting down to 160
Consistency and Discipline are your biggest assets. Motivation is good but its fleeting but those 2 stick with you
So aim to lose a lb a week,
After 4 weeks you notice your body changing
after 8 weeks the people close to you notice
and after 12 weeks EVERYONE will notice
Though it may take longer or shorter depending on how much fat you already have on your body
So today I hit 365 days of Logging Food on MyFitnessPal. A very useful site for logging food. I've found that Everyday you gotta squeeze a bit of Success out of it, and those Little bits of success day by day, week by week, month by month LEAD to Incredible GAINZ. I cannot stress enough how important logging food is if you are serious about making gainz. If you're not logging you're food than Goddamn you are your own biggest enemy. This site has helped me a lot and I love how it goes bit by bit telling you how much you should eat if you want to put on muscle or how much you should eat to lose that flab based on your activity level. Anyways I just thought this was a cool lil surprise, I had gotten so used to using it I didnt even notice it till a few friends said something haha I may be in shoulder rehab right now but The diet keeps me in check and this site has been an Amazing help, 80% of it actually haha
