This weekend I was blessed by Funimation with an invitation to see Dragon Ball Super Broly in theaters for the North America Premiere. I avoided All trailers for this film and went in fresh with a ton of other Youtubers. Today Me and The Anime Trainer talk in depth of our thoughts of the newest Dragon Ball film.
where we issue the Spoiler warning THAT YOU CAN EASILY AVOID ALL THE SPOILERS TO GO IN FRESH!!. These are our thoughts fresh on the movie post viewing.
My friends and I were playing DBZ fighterz and talkin bout the being stuck in a dragonball scenario and they made me realize something from DBZ, If you were transported to the Dragonball world WITHOUT powers
, just you as a regular human. Most of the Z fighters wouldnt care for you in the sense of like "I wanna be that guy/gals friend" Honestly.
My friend brought this up before if you think about it honestly (Not Emotionally like OH GOKU WOULD TRAIN IN MY FANTASY DREAM WORLD AND SHOW ME TECHNIQUES)
, ya know realistically he wouldn't waste his time w/you if you're just your regular self 😂 Its Sad but its true,
He aint gonna teach you any moves or how to fight cause it be a waste of time to him when he'd rather be training w/ Gods. We've established GOKU while goodhearted is VERY SELFISH lmao He'd just be bored & saying yea Id rather go train with someone worth while or just say "You're boring okay bye"
and Vegeta would just be like "Fuck off".
The more and more I think about it I honestly would not want to hang w/ most of the Z-Fighters if it was like a PLOP scenario & Im still a regular human. most of em are kinda dicks or just indifferent to ya 😅
I feel like Gohan & Krillin would be the most friendly and welcoming to you
and I feel Yamcha would probably be the most happy and just wanna hang out/do whatever since the others don't really spend all that much time with him lmfao

I have a question in all the time that you have liked dbz have you ever once thought it was boring or or just think your to old to like it?
So back in High School, my friends and I thought Super Buu's voice was ABSOLUTE COMEDY Gold, we loved it so much that we would go up to Random people and just quote them while they looked at us LIKE WTF😂😂😂I miss when his voice was like this. It still cracks me up #DBZ
Hey Jax just read your Gohan in my hero academia post and MY GOD I NEED THAT! I know you are caught up in the manga so I was wondering how well do you think Gohan would fair against Overhaul? His quirk is quite literally overpowered lol.
Someone actually asked me this on twitter earlier today so I’ll just say what I said there.
if Gohan is smart he could blitz him or erase him with a Ki Blast before he even knows whats going on since he’s Op,
But if he lets OverHaul get just ONE TOUCH on him w/o seeing what Kai can do, its possibly a Wrap because
I mean literally one tiny tap he can assemble or assemble practically anything and if Gohan doesn’t know what he can do and is foolish enough to give him that and he’s bloodlusted
Gohan would have to just blast him or not let him get one solid move which he could but if he underestimates him once and lets him touch I dont wanna think of the mess.
Never watched DBZ from beginning to end. How do I start? I need something to binge
Watch all of Dragonball- tbh I openly admit I think its better than Z cause of the fight scenes, story, comedy, and most characters.
Then I’m assuming you’re an adult and have seen quality anime dubs.
The reason this is important is because if you were a kid or early teens I would say watch the original Toonami Dub of Dragonball Z (Ocean Dub for Saiyan and Namek, Funimation Dub for the rest) or you can watch the remastered version where funimation dubbed over the saiyan and namek saga so all the voices stay the same.
But even I admit while it is my favorite dub to watch for DBZ its along the lines of Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Digimon, & Yugioh dubs. Theres a lot of cheesy corny lines that haven’t aged well but I watch it with Nostalgia Goggles and I enjoy it for what it is. Also it has Bruce Faulconer which is GODLY MUSIC TO GET YA IN THE GYM
But I admit a BETTER ACTED DUB is Dragonball Z Kai though I personally don’t care for it all the reasons I made in that big post I did here.
But now heres the thing if you prefer subs or dubs. Cause I still stand by Dragonball and Dragonball Z in Japanese is SO DAMN CLASSIC and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND All fans watch it like that once in their life.
So if you’re into Japanese and watch Dragonball to Z from beginning to end you’re set.
and if you want to watch Super and GT you can if you really want to but I cant in good conscience say those are shows that MOST newcomers would enjoy
DBS and GT are filled with a lot of BS if I’m being brutally honest.
Since some people think that mom image was put up was altered for Android 21 🙂
Heard a bunch of people talking shit about it but honestly I enjoyed it for what it was. People these days are EXTRA HYPERBOLIC with their opinions(IE Bright). I liked Android 21 & I'm glad it wasnt a retread of the whole story again.
BUT I gotta ask since I'm looking through responses where did they say Android 21 is 10 years old? She said she was an Android version of Gero's wife and 16 was like her son when I was playing so where did that come from?
We're wrapping up this month of Z Fighters with the OG HUMANS Krillin, Yamcha and Tien and seeing how their physiques evolved over the series.
THIS IS STILL FUCKIN BEAUTIFUL! Truly is the legends passing on the torch.
This series is winding down. Piccolo our Green Monster turned hero has had a few changes for his body over this series. Today we take a look at him and his changes.
