Most would ask how after such events someone could jump right back into work. But Aaron had gotten to be very good at compartmentalizing.

Dear both of you. No, this is NOT going to unlock any new kinks for me, NOR is it going to introduce me into new world of unsub fanfics. I WILL NOT LET iT, though YOU ARE TRYING HARD. But seriously, this took me on a wild ride that ended up with some weird-ass dreams and a lot of red dresses on my wishlist. :D I love that you didn’t gloss over the questions of the morality of their actions  and ‘reasoning with oneself and each other’, but still made it SO engaging and hot and interesting to read. Jazzie!!! Hiya, sweet booty! And yeah, your friend will be happy to know that I do have some quotes….

There’s one by Angelita Lim:  "I saw that you were perfect, and so I loved you. Then I saw that you were not perfect and I loved you even more.“ ^both Lily and Regulus were seen as perfect humans by the people around them, which must be nice but also exhausting so they would have that in common.

Another one similar to that:  "I want you. All of you. Your flaws. Your mistakes. Your imperfections. I want you, and only you.”

In reference to both of them dying young:  "I wish I could turn back the clock. I’d find you sooner and love you longer.“

And one I used recently in a Regulily edit (don’t remember who said it):  “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”^in reference to them both choosing their destinies, like how Regulus chose to die to bring down the Dark Lord and Lily choosing to sacrifice herself for Harry.
