Tugging on the lapels of his jacket, Link sighs. He wears a classic black and white tuxedo though he hasn’t gotten around to buttoning the shirt or jacket quite yet. No, he’s very much set on avoiding actually leaving his apartment.
There’s an anxiousness in him causing him to fiddle with the class ring on his middle finger and shove his bangs out of his face. “This is just like prom.” He mutters, finally fastening up his clothes. His phone rings out in the living room and he shuffles out to answer it, lazily. “Hello?”
“Oh, Goddesses, Link. Please, tell me that you’re not sleeping.” Zelda’s exasperated voice flows from the receiver and he smiles despite himself.
“I’m not sleeping.” He deadpans and outright grins when she actually growls at him.
“Swear to Nayru, Link, if you’re just getting out of the shower I–”
He chuckles, props the cell between his ear and shoulder, and returns to his bedroom so he can fasten a watch on his wrist. “Zel, relax. I’m ready. I told you I’d go so there’s no use in me procrastinating.”
