I’m just here reading the notes that are full of 20 somethings flexing on how they started reading fanfic in the 2000s meanwhile half my dashboard will see this, laugh and scroll on past cuz when they started on fanfic the internet hadn’t been invented yet and you had to sign up to a physical mailing list to get typed up slash fic posted to you.
YahooGroups? Anyone remember YahooGroups? And before that it was mailing lists with massive emails that went out. And I didn’t get into online fanfic and rp until I was out of college so I was behind the curve for my generation
