A totally biased amalgamation of the best quotes and moments ever from novels and various adaptations; a lot of Pride and Prejudice. Honestly just entirely too much Pride and Prejudice.

i am begging if you have a kindle or use an ereader or read books online in any kind of way please go on libby and register with your local library (if you don’t have a library card, what a good excuse to see if you can sign up online for one or even take a trip!) to see their digital collection. i made a resolution to not buy as many books as i have these past few years and also to support my library more and it was so easy and i’ve already borrowed one book and have another on hold in like ten minutes.

im in my jane austen era so somebody stop me before I write my own declaration of love- 'My soul is as old as the ocean and you are the reincarnation of a lover I have loved in every lifetime. You feel like the warmth of someone's hand in a cold winter night, like the first drop of rain on a hot summer day. Your gaze alone pierce me like a spear in my Achilles' heel and you water my words and make it blossom. Even with my last breath I will speak only of my love for you yet I only hope that you feel the same.'

It was an union that must have been to the advantage of both: by her ease and liveliness, his mind might have been softened, his manners improved; and from his judgement, information, and knowledge of the world, she must have received benefit of greater importance

Now be sincere; did you admire me for my impertinence?"

"For the liveliness of your mind, I did.
