#au where harry has a secret admirer that he gets notes from everyday#and hes always so excited for them#and grins all big when he starts to read#and louis’ the best friend who starts to feel really jealous#he figures its just because harry’s got a secret admirer while he doesn’t#but he eventually realises he’s got himself some annoyingly romantic feelings#for the boy whose meant to be his best mate#so louis starts to get a bit flirty#and harry’s too oblivious to realise#too caught up his his stupid secret admirer#so louis decides to take it upon himself to stop harry’s dumb crush on the faceless letter writer#so this one day Harry gets a letter and he’s all giddy as he opens it#and grins big when he starts to read#but he gets a few lines down and suddenly it says something super dirty and he just#/oh/#then harry looks to louis and says /did you write this?/#and louis’ face drops from a smirk to shock because /how did he know?/#and harry says as if louis asked the question out loud /you never cross your Ts and you loop your Fs funny/#/you should have at least typed the letter up if you were trying to play a prank you arsehole/#and Harry doesnt speak to him for days#and the letters stop too which louis figures must be making Harry extra sad#so louis storms up to harry one day and outright says /i might not be the one writing the letters but i have got a dumb secret crush on you/#and harry’s whole entire face lights up as he says /about time you realised it you idiot!#i was running out of things to put in those letters!/#but the ever-oblivious louis asks /what?/#so harry spells it out for him#/i wrote the letters to myself so you’d bloody see me as something more than a mate/#and before louis can say something stupid like /I knew the whole time/ harry shuts him up with a kiss (x)
