TVXQ has earned the respect of the music industry and fans in Korea, Japan and other countries for transitioning from singing idols to serious artists. Their contribution to Korean pop music cannot be denied; they are among the few whom despite being on top, still bow down to their juniors and rehearse as if they were still trainees. It wasn’t an easy road, but their perseverance, passion and artistry are what make them stay on top of the game and what make them truly worthy of the name The Rising Gods of the East.

He was starting to forget my face. I can tell because whenever I’d say something to him, his eyes didn’t have that force that pulled me in like before. I remember when he was diagnosed he told me not to worry and he promised he wouldn’t forget me but I could tell now that I was slipping into a dark unknown place in his mind.  And now, we were at the bus stop on our way to the hospital for more testing. I hated seeing him drugged up like that in the recovery room. It killed me. I wanted him back and I wanted him to be normal again. Regardless, I will carry Jaejoong to the very end.
