An eternity ago (in May; though I could have sworn it was longer), I had this idea. And then I did nothing with it forever and ever, until I finally sat down and made it happen - and I’m really happy with it, so this will definitely be coming to a store near you in the near future!

I did say it was going to be something a little special, though it has occurred to me that I don’t know how many of you will get as much joy out of this as I have - at any rate, I may have struggled with my traditional avenues of creative expression lately, but I have done... some very not traditional things, including creating Minecraft skins for Avon and Vila (well, I may have already had Avon, but he was really missing a Vila).
And then I found a website where you could put your custom skins into premade renders. And then I may have gone a little overboard.
Yes, I have more. Yes, these are the more “Gen” ones. Yes, I may eventually share the others.
But in the meantime - my GPD gift from me to you, two fully functioning Minecraft skins, below the cut. If you don’t use them in hardcore worlds, it’s effectively an immortal Avon and Vila, which is really what we need on GPD.

I may have done some re-shuffling of calendar dates (special treat tomorrow!) to post this today, but it felt better, for balance. This is one of the first “watercolour” edits I did, but I also feel like it has something the others don’t - perhaps the composition is just so pleasing.
I wrote a fic. It’s decidedly not seasonal and the fact that it was written out of Neurodivergent Frustration (TM) makes me hesitate to put it up on its own on AO3, but it is S4, so if the “season” we are talking about here is the run up to Gauda Prime Day, I suppose it fit perfectly. So I let myself by convinced to post it here, as a special (and decidedly angsty) treat. Enjoy!
Something a little more experimental - and naturally Vila had to be my “test subject”. Also I realised literally only last night that I may have... ended up with certain colours.

More experiments with colourisation! More than two people seem to be quite tricky, but considering the variety we have here, it does a good job!

On the subject of contemporary Avon and Vila... I’m partially kidding, because from the moment I saw the photo of PD that I used as a reference for this, I knew I had to draw it regardless, but I can’t deny that I kept thinking about it as I was drawing it. I guess “Red Velvet Cake” and “Blueberry Muffins” got stuck in my head.
