I painted these for the episode "Shoot First, Ask Questions Laser," and I believe all 3 were designed by Erik Martin.
Some fun backgrounds I painted for RC9GN episode "Sorcerer In Love," which aired today. This was maybe my favorite environment to paint for the whole season. *Slightly* spoilery, I guess? You don't really know what's going on here without me telling you, but I guess I'll tag it spoilers since not everyone caught this new episode yet.
I'm pretty sure our art director, Otto Tang, did that green flare effect above the Sorcerer, so props to Otto.
Some more lighting fun I got to have with this episode. I was really happy with how Boulder animated the lighting in the final version of this shot.
Have some BGs from McHugger games! This was one of my favorite environments to paint from the entire first season? Why? It's just a dumb warehouse, right? It's because the BG designer drew a skylight in the roof, which let me play around with the light source! If you draw a light source for me, I will have 100% more fun painting.
