“people only *think* the economy is bad because of rising grocery costs!” okay but that’s called food insecurity, and I cannot overstate how big of a deal that is. food prices are, historically speaking, the number one thing that people have rioted about.
General Strike on May Day, 2020
Not only is a general strike a strategic way to build our power and get out of this mess, yadda, yadda, yadda, I'm sure you've heard all that before, but the best way to keep the wealthy miserable right now is a general strike when we're asked to return to work.
Since our labor becomes their profits and we make them wealthy, starving them of more wealth while bringing them down to our level will be the funniest shit ever.
Also all agreeing that money is bullshit could do this rapidly, too. But let's take over the factories, and burn down or reorganize the ones not needed.
There's a call for a General Strike on Feb 17th. Hope people are mobilizing for this. Either way, even if it's not successful that day, we should keep organizing for one! Everything for Everyone
