Jim Carter wants the Downton Abbey movie to be an X-rated shocker for fans … with Carson the butler leaving service to become a porn baron.He revealed that the upcoming film version of the hit ITV show could be set in London’s Soho in the Swingin’ Sixties.
And it will be centred around Carson making a fortune opening up saucy strip joints and table dancing clubs.
He revealed: “For the film I think Mr. Carson should invent poll dancing really.
“I think the public are ready for that. We would have Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Patmore of course, and Lady Cora would shake a leg and I think it’d be very popular.”
