so because of the fact that some of wade's fourth wall breaking in canon is shown to be diagetic - i.e. the other characters are (sometimes) aware of wade directly addressing the audience even though they are not aware of the audience themselves - it's been floated that it's not just a character thing but in fact one of his actual superpowers, with even some official stuff saying so (tho i don't have sources on that handy). personally, i believe a power like that ties quite handily into the super-Power Of Belief, a la Good Omens, Peter Pan, etc. if you know you're fictional, or at the very least that your reality follows the rules of fiction, it only stands to reason you could manipulate the reality in question in accordance with the rules of fiction. i'd go so far as to suggest maybe the whole them holding hands meaning they fix everything and live too was a wade-made dues ex machina (the metafiction possibilities here are endless).
