also re: DigiAdv 2020 summary

Ok so, my own takeaways from this.....:
- the happenings are due to “ cyber terrorism ” - or REPORTED AS
- much more likely “because Digimon”
- I.E. THE NEWS IS LIKELY WRONG
- THEY’VE BEEN CANONICALLY WRONG BEFORE
- RE: A LOT OF THINGS (HIKARIGAOKA, TRI HAPPENINGS ETC.)
- Taichi stayed at home ALONE ...
- Hikari does not appear to be sick ???
- also indicated by her appearing in the poster itself, of course
(yes I am aware of her presence there AND THAT GLOWY ... THING)
(that looks very suspiciously like a feather)
- summer camp is at THE END OF THE WEEK
- i.e. IT IS NOT THE SUMMER CAMP TIME YET as of 1st episode
- maybe this is why Hikari ISN’T SICK ??? ? ?
- i.e. “ Adventure if it started a WEEK EARLIER ”
- ... in the year 2020 instead of 1999
- the snowstorm (“snow in summer”) likely HASN’T happened yet ???
- as a result of this timeline change
- maybe THIS is (also?) why they’re not wearing gloves, etc. etc. this time ???
- or maybe it’s just design aesthetic things
- they are in Shibuya [ instead of Odaiba, because Taichi leaves for Shibuya ]
- MRS YAGAMI AND HIKARI ARE STUCK INSIDE A MOVING TRAIN
- THAT CAN’T BE BRAKED
- TAICHI GOES STRAIGHT TO THE PLATFORM
- TAICHI YAGAMI WHAT DO YOU EVEN THINK YOU’RE DOING
- coincidentally his new profile reports him as:
- “ He has a strong sense of justice,
and will always run to help when his family and friends are in danger! ”
- and also “ The passionate young boy who takes action ”
- then again this is also typical early Adventure!Taichi descriptive, in general
- Taichi DOES go to the Digital World ( at least in the 1st episode ?? )
- we also have confirmation of the Real world (still) being involved, as well
- problems in the Digital World affect the Real world
- in the poster, the top half is the Digital World while the bottom is the Real world
- others in the fandom (MYSELF INCLUDED) have noted similarities re: the start of Frontier’s plot + the Shibuya + train station locations
- coincidentally, Shibuya is also the location of where Pump(kin)mon + Gotsumon episode happens in ADVENTURE, which may be relevant
- literally the Japanese episode title of that one Adventure episode with them is
“ Pump and Gottsu are Shibuya-type Digimon ”
- i.e. they are very known for being relevant to this location
- it’s basically the entire point of their storyline that they are Shibuya-relevant
- Yamato and Takeru DID take the train in this episode too .....
^ SHIBUYA ( see: the sign ) was the entire premise of this episode
^ the subway/train scene seemed very poignant ...
... and seems to set “ a mood ” for the rest of the episode
( here they are discussing the Takaishi+Ishidas’ families’ separations / divorce in the Japanese version of the episode;
Takeru proceeds to fight with Patamon, who flies off into Shibuya )
- we’ll know for sure if this bit is actually Frontier inspired if a mysterious voice sounds on 2020!Taichi’s cellphone to ask him to make a choice (hhhhhha)
- ANYWAY THIS COULD BE WHY HIKARI’S ON THE POSTER YEAH
- ADVENTURE IF IT STARTED A WEEK EARLIER, IN 2020 ...................
