thoughts on the call to redesign the ace flag?
A bunch! TLDR: There’s no reason to chance a wildly adopted symbol. There is however an incredible new number of lies about the 10 year old symbol.
Link One: A recent redesign from an ace was because they didn’t know why any of the choices of the flag we had, they since apologized spreading the misinformation

Link Four: Me and a bunch of other ace activists are getting very annoyed that acephobes keep acting like AVEN is some end all be all for the community. I checked the blog and this isn’t new behavior there’s posts from 2016 discussing it, but as more aces do things away from AVEN’s froms it’s becoming incredibly offensive, and a willful (cis) straight white washing of our history.
