Seriously Underrated Digimon Moments aka Also Good Digimon Duos > Jou & Koushiro [Joushiro / Jyoushiro], Digimon Adventure Episode 52 (*a.k.a.: not only was Jou saving him without a second thought for himself here, but this is one of the few times Koushiro Izumi is actually shown crying openly for someone [not his Digimon] in Adventure.) (* He comes close a few other times like with his parents [where he visibly held back, then hid his face once he did cry] and the Mugendramon / Machinedramon arc scene with Taichi [where he seemed too stunned about Taichi’s story to actually cry openly]; but this scene in comparison had him openly crying right when Jou saved him. It was also very close to the very end of the series.)
