"Consume content" is an awful phrase that makes my skin crawl.
Read a book, read a comic, read an essay. Watch a movie, watch a play, watch a video. Play a game. Listen to music, listen to a speech, listen to a slam poem. Look at paintings, look at sculptures. Tour an exhibit, view a presentation.
But for the love of god, stop "consuming content." It's a soulless, corporate phrase that wants you to rip through as much as possible as fast as possible. It wants you to spend money, cast things aside as soon as you're done with them, and forget them once you move on. It wants you constantly fixated on the next big thing at the expense of everything else.
"Consuming content" is an icky phrase and I hate it so much.
