This is so exciting! This cool "Yu Yu Hakusho" Collaboration Cafe will be held in Tokyo and Osaka. The guys are wearing waiter uniforms with the Yukimura Restaurant logo (喫茶食堂 YUKIMURA). Kuwabara even has the famous "Health First" (健康第一) on his shirt. The dragon and rose patterns on Kurama and Hiei's shirts are also amazing.

Netflix finally released the Official Trailer and announced the rest of the cast. On the Netflix Official Site, there are many subs and dubs available as well as other teasers, so don't forget to check it!

It seems they changed the plot a little bit. The guys are facing Bui and Karasu outside the Tournament (?), and attacking Toguro all at once! I wonder if the "Rescue Yukina" Arc will involve all of them or if it's a new and original script.

This December 13, Netflix is celebrating the world premiere of Yu Yu Hakusho's live-action series with the live screening of the first episode. If you're in Tokyo, try to apply! Registrations close on December 5.

Live-Action Series "Yu Yu Hakusho" Premieres Worldwide on December 14, 2023

Netflix has finally confirmed the premiere date and released two teasers on their twitter and official site. The soundtrack and the spirit gun seems cool. We're still waiting for a trailer and the rest of the cast announcement. I was surprised to know it took 5 years to produce this first season.

Furthermore, it has been decided that a special event called "The Eve of the Decisive Battle - Worldwide Fastest Screening Meeting” will be held in Tokyo on the eve of the distribution, December 13! Detailed information including guests and how to apply will be announced at a later date on the official site of the event: yuhakuevent.com. The applications start in about 30 days, so I'm wondering if that's when the trailer and full cast will be unveiled as well.

They might show an advance screening of the first episode. I'm assuming the guests are going to be the actors and director, but it would be a dream if Togashi-sensei showed up.

People were asking me what counts to help get Season 3 made. And the answer is, 1) people watching S2 and watching it to the end, 2) people who haven't watched Good Omens before watching Good Omens, which very much includes Season 1.

So if you know people who haven't seen Season 1, get them to watch it. And if you are at the homes of people with Prime Video who have never seen Good Omens, this is your chance to introduce them to the world of Good Omens while helping make a statistic that the algorithm people are following.

Is there a time frame important? Like does it have to be during the first month of airing or something ?

Yes. With Sandman it was a four-month process to get renewed, but with Good Omens we will know if we've been renewed or not pretty fast. Or at least, Amazon will know. They may have to wait for the Strikes to be done before they tell us, though.

If Amazon simply complied with what the unions are requesting and perhaps signed a contract to do so, what would happen?

I was thrilled when I heard that A24 had done something like that for SAG-AFTRA actors.

I wish Amazon (and Apple) would. Making television is not their primary business, and they could settle all of the actors and writers demands for less than they spend in a month on packaging.

30 years of Yu Yu Hakusho also means the 30th anniversary of Megumi Ogata as a voice actress. She debuted in October 1992, in the role of Kurama. To celebrate this moment, she is releasing a mini album with some covers, from the ending theme of her latest work "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie", to the opening song of her debut work "Yu Yu Hakusho". Ogata-san conveys her love for her works and characters, and gratitude to her fans ♡

The cover of "Hohoemi no Bakudan" (Smile Bomb) debuted on the NHK-FM "Radioman Jack" radio station last Saturday, January 7, 2023. This is not the same cover from the album "Yu Yu Hakusho Super Covers". This new one features members of the famous band Angela, KATSU was in charge of the arrangements and Atsuko sings in the chorus.

I tried to record the song from the radio, the quality is not high, but you can get an idea of how it sounds.

Review of Yoshihiro Togashi Exhibition -PUZZLE-

I would like to make a summary of Togashi's Exhibition that is currently taking place at the Mori Arts Center Gallery located on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, in Tokyo, from October 28, 2022 to January 9, 2023. After that, it will head to Osaka in Summer 2023 and to Fukuoka from Autumn 2023 to Winter 2024.

Since photos are not allowed in the venue, I will be using photos from the press and from the official catalog to illustrate my review. I focused more on the Yu Yu Hakusho Area.

The press had access to the exhibition one day before the official opening to the public. Even though photos are forbidden, you can buy the exhibition catalog at the official store. It contains the manuscripts, storyboards, original illustrations, and other exclusive materials displayed at Puzzle.

If you type "富樫義博展" (Yoshihiro Togashi Exhibition) on YouTube, you will also find good coverage from the media that will provide you with a general view of the place.

I was so excited to visit the exhibition today and @yyh4ever has a lovely and perfect summary of it! I wish many fans will be able to enjoy what this special showing has to offer. ❤️

Yu Yu Hakusho Live Action Series by Netflix

On July 16, Netflix has finally announced Takumi Kitamura as the main character Yusuke Urameshi. Takumi is the leader of the dance-rock band DISH, and recently starred in the live-action adaptation of Tokyo Revengers. His casting is not a big surprise, as some photos of him were leaked in 2021 during the shootings in Shimonoseki city.
