Prompt: Okay, get this. Coffee shop au with Steve and Bucko

Notes/Warnings: Vomit worthy fluff and kissing.

 Your alarm clock buzzed and you smiled wide. Six am was no reason to grin but going to get your morning coffee was. You’re local shop was run by two of the cutest baristas in the entire world, and you had the hots for one in particular.

 You showered quick and braided your hair into a messy bun- which worked for business casual- and slipped on your favorite dress and heels. Okay, you were trying extra hard today but with good reason.

 Today was the day you would ask out James. At least you would if you could muster up the courage. You checked your make-up one more time and grabbed your purse and rushed out the door.

 The walk down the street was actually not terrible. A little dark and gloomy with the oncoming storm but, you were other wise distracted by thoughts of your dark haired dream boat. He always smiled at you when he took your order and would stepped away from the register to make your coffee himself.

Author’s Notes: So…wow. Yeah, I’m a walking disaster. BUT! I have finished this series now! So, all I have to do is format and tag and prep all the other chapters… okay, I’m not out of the woods yet but hey, the actual writing is done. Shame on me for thinking I could have my real life and write chapter by chapter consistently.. lol. Enough of me. Here goes.

 You almost giggled with nerves. “Bucky, we’re going to get caught!” 

 Bucky grinned back at you as he tugged you down the empty hall. “Then let’s make it a worth while capture.” This hallway had long been abandoned after Tony’s staff had all gone home for the evening and the two of you were grateful for the privacy.

 You knew he didn’t mean it but the word ‘capture’ threw you off. You tried to shake the painful memory.

 But you were happy to be pulled back to the present when a pair of stormy blue eyes turned on you. He walked to you slowly and pressed his lips to yours with zero warning. Not that you needed it. 

You hands wrapped around his neck and you pulled him tighter. 

 A flash of a punch to the face when Bucky cupped your jaw. Kiss him harder. You opened your mouth and kissed him like you were dying.

 Bucky’s brows scrunched and he hummed into your mouth. He followed your lead and started to let his hands roam. Down your neck, across your shoulders to her back and down to your waist.

 Flash after flash of the abuse you’d taken with each brush of his fingers. Maybe if you just went for it, all the memories would go away. So, you did. You pulled him impossibly close and bit down on his lip just enough to shock him.
