Summary: He messed up. He knows that he has really messed everything up, but can he catch you to make a very rare apology before you head off on your latest mission, or will he be too late?

As he stared out into the darkness of space, his face was void of all emotion. Anyone observing might have mistaken him for a droid, there was no indication or any hint of humanity in the figure staring at the spot which your fleet had disappeared into hyperdrive from. The last place he had been able to see you. Well, not exactly see you, because you were in the ship and he was here but… that was the spot you had existed in before leaving him forever.

It had been such a short amount of time since your departure, but Armitage missed you. He guessed he should get used to that though, since you were disgusted with him. How could you not be? He was disgusted with himself. He had been so stubborn and stupid. It had been foolish to open himself up, to trust you. Foolish to believe he was worthy of love, after all, his own father couldn’t love him, so how could someone as wonderful as you?

Summary: When the choice is between the institution he has devoted his life to and the only woman he has ever loved, how will Hux live with his decision?

A/N: I’ve been listening to Tim Minchin’s new album and this song kinda stuck with me and I felt the need to give you all a little Hux.

Armitage Hux was never one for sentimentality.  Alliances were useful to further ones position or to consolidate power, but other than that they were of no use to him.  At least that is what he told himself.  Believing that was better than feeling the weight of your betrayal, or the feeling of inadequacy Pryde delighted in bathing him in on a daily basis. Everything he had wanted, everything he had worked for, was falling apart at the seams, and that was because he had allowed himself to be distracted.

The First Order: The Viewing

Characters: Hux x reader featuring Kylo, Pyde and various Storm Troopers

Summary: Recruitment for The First Order is down, so someone came up with the bright idea of letting a film crew put together a documentary to help boost interest.  The thing is, after seeing what really goes on behind the scenes on The Supremacy, would anyone ever sign up to join?

Word Count: 2719 words

A/N: Welcome to Part 2.   This may possibly be the longest thing I have ever written in one go but I just couldn’t stop.  Feedback, as always, is very welcome.

As far as meetings went, this was the most bizarre.  You had witnessed officers killed in front of you, Ren’s meltdowns, the entire conference table ripped from the floor and flipped over, but the scene as you walked into the room was definitely the most disconcerting.  

“Captain, there is a seat available in the corner.” Pryde indicated, his eyes flitting back to the doorway, obviously awaiting the arrival of the Supreme Leader.  

Chairs were set out in rows, all facing where you assumed the documentary would be projected. Officers were sat in their ranks, silent, nervously wondering what fresh hell this experiment would bring and who would still be standing at the end of the viewing.  The tension was palpable.

A/N: Okay, so I’ve had this idea in my head for YEARS for a totally different character in a totally different fandom which I’ve never written for and, while in my ‘thinking spot’ the other day, a little voice whispered into my brain that it would work for Hux.  Now, I love writing Hux, so here you go.  There will be a part 2.

Armitage Hux swept down the corridor with an air of irritation.  They were The First Order!  They should not need to ‘appeal’ to the masses.  This was not a popularity contest.  Whoever had arranged this ridiculous intrusion had no idea how The Supremacy really worked, if they did then there would not be a film crew aboard.
