How did the Joker movie become so misconstrued? Never did I watch it and think it was some “sigma male” relatable film. The movie makes me sad and is genuinely heartbreaking. The whole thing is just about how Arthur has been so hurt by everyone in his life and him just losing his mind. Genuinely how did people start labeling it as some power move sigma male movie about getting revenge?

#joker and carrie speak to me on personal level #cuz I can't even tell you how many times i have dreamed of killing everyone who abused me like that #and how much sympathy i had for those two characters because of everything they went through for no reason just cuz other people suck #they deserved so much better #i also don't understand how people thought that joker was about incels #just like people are trying to label gone girl as a movie about toxic white feminism like wtf are you talking about #when a protagonist is good y'all stan villains but when the protagonist turns evil y'all call it a toxic movie lol just decide already #but it's the internet it ruins so many movies i love cuz people are stupid and all they do is hate
