Apparently in American schools boys are now telling girls "your body, my choice" 🫠
Now that I already saw a thread about how teenage boys don't get criticised for being insufferable I remember one time my neighbour was talking about school and she was like "you know how teenage boys love to grab girls' butts?" and I'm like "no" and she's like "they will do that to you one time, they do that, boys just do that" and I'm like "I don't want them to do that" and she's like "it's just what boys do" and I'm like "but I don't like what they do" and she was like "you better not do anything about them because one time I punched a guy who did this and the (male) teacher beat me up as a punishment in front of the whole class".
The plot: A girl got punished for defending herself from a guy who harassed her and she learned a lesson that it's better to let them harass you than suffer the punishment from yet another (older) man who's using his position to abuse girls and teach boys that they should harass girls.
And the worst part is that after all these years she's still convinced that what she did was "problematic" and that her teacher was right.
Ladynoir conflict is really out there telling me that the fandom society gives zero f*cks about girl's mental health or girl's emotions or girls in general and that her only purpose in life and the only way to be appreciated is if she helps the boy but when she does just that she's a slut.
