LOST ONES
Juliet
Finishes the wings Jenna Ortega style. Not a tear or cough in sight. In the interview, she talks about her sister and Sean gets emotional, but most of the conversation centers around her research.

Sometimes I think about the original plan that the Lost writers had for Claire, which was that she was a surrogate mother for her friends, and wonder how that would have played out. It's kind of hilarious to think about the image of Claire just kind of being a glorified babysitter for two months. Like, she gives birth but it's... not her baby? So she just has to carry the thing around for 2 months like "If I let this fucking kid die, his parents are gonna be so pissed".
Also, this would have made Kate keeping the baby soooo much more problematic and complex. And you know I like problematic and complex women ;)
One the types of Lost fans that confuse me are the people who hate Shannon, because she's annoying, bitchy and unhelpful. "She's a bad person!" Ok??? But like, canonically, she's one of the best people on the island??? She's not a torturer or a con artist or a murderer, she's literally just a white, rich 20-year-old. Don't get me wrong, that IS annoying, but also super realistic. Her biggest crime was telling airport security that Sayid left his bag unattended.
Free my girl, she deserved to live!

"I'll talk to Juliet, see what she can tell me."
oohhh she's so excited to go talk to her girlfriendddd
If you ever feel like being sad, you can always think about how Kate left the Others' village on Christmas Eve morning, presumably without telling Claire what was happening, which means Claire woke up alone in a house on Christmas Eve. She's had abandonment issues her entire life, her boyfriend just died, and now her friend (or her girlfriend) is gone.
Also, if you wanted to be even more sad, you could think about the fact that if Kate was living with her still, there's a higher chance that they both would've escaped the house before it explodes in "The Shape of Things to Come", which means the MIB would have never gotten her, and they both would've probably made it off the island. Even if they didn't dodge the explosion, Kate would have never let her wander into the jungle with Christian. So... yeah... maybe Claire had a grudge against Kate for several reasons in season 6.
"Merry Christmas, please don't call" or whatever.
