After completely hating on Scarlet on its release I'm finally happy to say that, y'know what, somehow someway it's completely recaptured my heart and I'm all in back into Pokemon.
Super Mario World finally got itself a proper sequel about 30 years later! Good god, this game is so charming ✨
Mapped out 100% of the Depths tonight
Lightroot
Now over 100 hours into Tears of the Kingdom I can say that this game safely is in my top 3 of all-time Zelda favorites. Still got a few Temples to go and lots of side-quests and Depths to explore, but by god, this game is a gem.
Finally got to finish up Diablo 3 after some months of getting through the campaign and I'm kinda glad we completed it. Wasn't my favorite because any sorta of skill was absolutely not necessary at all. Never died a single time or even came close to that, for that matter. So all the button mashing didn't really lend itself well to having a unique and fun experience.
However, it would seem that D4 might be a better game overall, or at least it appears to be, at least! So let's see when I can plop down the funds to grab that!
Alright, Diablo is cool and all, but may I interest you in some quirky Minecraft dungeon crawling instead?
Went in thinking it was gonna be a competitive time... turned out I just got my ass handed to me 😅
Being gifted the AC New Horizons DLC was so sudden and out of nowhere but incredibly appreciated and I'm so thankful for it! 🫶🏼✨ Gonna be putting some real work at collecting them bugs, fish, fossils, decor, and making the best of neighbors (except the ugly ones. Fuck them 😠🤜🏼💥)
Tears of the Kingdom: New abilities
Getting hyped! Just a little over a month away...
One of the most touching endings to a game I've experienced in a long time. The friendship gained between all sorts of folks who at first were bent and convinced that killing you was the right thing to do only to then forego their own desires to give you strength to survive. And yet it's their unique personalities and selflessness that allows you to "save" them and give everyone a better tomorrow. And while you may not gain exp. points, level-up, or grow strong by going the pacifist route, you do realize how much harder it is to go through life trying not to hurt people and how challenging it can be to listen and understand. Undertale is seriously an all-timer!
It only took close to 3 years but I’ve finally gotten all the moons in Mario Odyssey. That volleyball mini-game is something that the devil thought up but man, it felt good to get it done!
