MORE DISCORD SHENANIGANS!!! My friends and I had a lil bit of a freakout about the idea of Crosshair and an OC in a modern au getting brought together by Crosshair’s three dogs: Wrecker, Tech and Hunter! It was such a cute idea that I had to make some art.

(We decided that Hunter was a German Shepherd, but I love dobies and I couldn’t help myself. Maybe I’ll make a shepherd Hunter later)

Reminds me of my Service Animals Batch AU I've discussed with my friends on discord!

Basically Echo's a veteran that finds a group of dogs (and a cat) and adopts them, later it turns out they were trained:

Tech as an actual service dog and gets a vest (helps with moving and touching things)

Wrecker as emotional support (helps with panic attacks and pulls a wagon with groceries when they go shopping)

Hunter as a protection dog (will bite an attacker, towards Echo or any other Batcher)

There's also the cat Crosshair, which is there as grumpy helper and hisses at kids that try to disturb any of the Batcher's work

i actually started this a couple weeks ago but with the latest episodes i felt the need to finish it

I really loved this project, it was fun to draw them all happy and healthy and enjoying themselves. The best part was trying to make new outfits for them.

Someone may have already posted about this, but the amazing @uzuriart on Instagram posted these based on the face of Temuera Morrison and I just can’t with how beautiful they all are👀

This is what happened.

I am awaiting the Tech and Phee reunion which will I hope happen in front of Crosshair and when she grabs Tech and kisses him Cross is going to be like

Cross has survived 32 days abandoned on a platform, an avalanche, the death of a new friend, killing his superior officer when his dream of being accepted by the Empire dires, the Horrors of Mt. Tantiss a literal science horror film set, finding out Tech is dead, finding out Tech is NOT dead, and by this point a harrowing escape involving all kinds of craziness. He's still standing. He's not going to pass out from the everything.

Phee grabs Tech for a kiss and he's like 'yeah...okay I gotta sit down.'

So Tech survives (shut up, he survives I said) only now he doesn't have his goggles and Hoelock has no reason to give him new ones. Cue him and Crosshair escaping only our man is half blind and Crosshair has to drag him by the hand so he doesn't get lost (has already happened once), walk into the line of fire (has already happened more than once) or walk into something (don't even ask).

By the end Crosshair is this 🤏 close to locking him in a janitor's closet and coming back for him once he's shot down every stormtrooper in the base. The only reason he hasn't done it yet is because he needs him to hack doors.

I love it.

Omega: No not that one, this one.

Tech: Read it to me.

Omega: <begins painstakingly reading the console>

Crosshair, growling: We don't have time for this. <pushes Tech's face almost all the way to the console>

Tech: Ah, much better.

Once Tech was given a data pad, he quickly hacked it and was able to access the holonet. (Which they were not allowed to have). He and his brothers would stay up late and watch movies together. 99 caught them a couple times, but kept their secret safe.
