If Tim Burton could have directed "Beetlejuice goes Hawaiian." It is said that the original script put the Deetzes in the middle of building a resort and thereby freeing the spirit of an ancient Kahuna, with Lydia turning to Beetlejuice for help and defeating him in a surfing competition. Based on that, I made some sketches, including a sea creature that was the equivalent of the sandworms from the original movie, but looking to parody "Jaws." It was an idea with a lot of potential that failed to be carried out in the 90s.

An Unhealthy Obsession - Betelgeuse x Lydia Deetz (Beetlebabes)

Hey, I'm not usually a big fan of straight ships, but whatever Lydia and Beetlejuice have got going on in the last movie is honestly kinda cute.

Like, dude was joking in the first movie, but now he's really down bad : he has kept a framed picture of her, worked hard, helped her out of a toxic relationship and saved her daughter, all while knowing that she would probably find a way not to marry him anyway.

I gotta admit, kinda wished the wedding was going to go all the way through.

This movie, made me re-ignite my love for these characters.

And I used to ship adult Lydia with Beej and omg.

I cant believe this ship got its crumbs in the new movie with adult Lydia, I absolutely love it.
