AU: Where Jack Frost, Hiccup’s childhood friend and guardian mysteriously disappeared after a horrible winter storm. 10 years later Hiccup is now in charge of the island of Berk as his father the chief sailed away in the look for help, but as another mysterious storm came, the sea turned solid and brought more than snow and ice to Hiccup’s life.

The first time Jack Frost met Hiccup after five years.
Still riding the new httyd2 trailer high...and I just want to sit here and appreciate for a moment what the hijack fandom is going to get to experience.
I mean fanvids are always a tricky thing to navigate, since you only get so much material to work with? And it always amazes me to see what people do with it, make me see footage I've watched a zillion times look brand new from a slightly different angle/setting etc.
But in the hijack fandom especially we have a ship where one of the characters doesn't age...and the other does. Which generally means you're limited to just depicting a snapshot of their entire relationship or using stand-ins for the 'older' footage.
But we're getting sequel movie footage now which means footage of an older Hiccup which means the fanvids are going to be AMAZING and also totally heartbreaking.
