if I had a nickel for every time (about) halfway through the first season of a Neil Gaiman show, there was a montage of two immortal characters meeting up periodically and we can see one slowly realize he’s in love, I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

Both also end up having a “break up” scene where the one who has definitely always known he was in love/had feelings for the other character tries to talk to the other about their “friendship” but ends up getting shut down by him
