A couple Dead Poets Society head canons but make it gay because it’s pride month

• Charlie was the first person Todd came out to

Todd had just fully realized his feelings for Neil and he was having a panic attack because it’s the 50s and people are homophobic and he just realized he was in love with his best friend/roommate

Charlie was actually looking for Neil when he came across Todd having the panic attack. He sat with Todd and calmed him down and that was when Todd (hesitantly) came out to him. Charlie reassured him that everyone else in their friend group was also a little bit gay and that Neil also had feelings for him

• Meeks and Pitts share a bed

It started one night because there was a bad thunderstorm and Meeks got scared (Meeks is scared of storms and no one can convince me otherwise)

Meeks tried to ignore the storm but Pitts could tell he was freaked out. Pitts turned on his desk lamp and scooted over so Meeks could get in the bed with him

This started a trend and it got to the point where Meeks would immediately go to Pitts bed instead of starting in his

Meeks’ bed just has all of their stuff for their radio piled on it and it’s still set from their first day

How the Dead Poets would react to you in the hospital (because I was just in the hospital (and I’m low key in love with Charlie Dalton))

Neil: would sneak in snacks for you and just little treats so you’re not bored

Todd: would visit you every day and squeeze in the bed with you and read to you

Meeks: would research what was wrong and ramble off facts to you

Pitts: would cuddle with you and would curl his body around you so he was cradling you

Charlie: would try to act cool and collected but is secretly (not so secretly) worried sick. He would sit by the hospital bed holding your hand if you were unconscious and wouldn’t move until you woke up

Knox: would buy you a ton of presents. Your room would look like the hospital rooms in the movies/shows with like 90 bears and balloons and gifts except they’re ALL from Knox

Cameron: would be kinda scared/nervous to visit you at first but when he sees you, he rushes to your side and wouldn’t leave until someone made him

Pitts and Meeks would’ve loved Bill Nye the Science Guy and NO ONE can convince me otherwise
