Breaking free from etsy and starting on a new platform is terrifying and I know it will come with a big loss of. Well. People who will even FIND it, even more want to look or buy from me. But I'm taking the leap, and well. Without Etsy taking a big cut, I have been able to lower some prices... which is nice for everyone involved.

I am not used to managing more than one blog. Be patient with me...

I mean. technically I have managed my main and my art blog for years, but... I'm so bad at posting art it uh. It was rarely an issue.

WIP update-

Not as much detail as I'd love, but more than I expected and definitely good enough. I went overboard with the detail in the pattern when drawing, so of course it does not show up 100%.

Oh - and this is going to be the lid of a box. Making a matching dizi one for Wei Wuxian to make them a set.

Learning digital art... I haven't started to colour properly yet but the plan is to get there. For now, it's... a wip but also lazily shaded lineart?

Once I learn to colour properly, I'm considering making more portraits like this and make into acrylic keychains. I'd have to do some form of pre-order though and idk if I'd manage to get enough orders to make it happen... but yeah that is a question for when I learn to colour digitally.

I finally made what I think is a pretty clear guide to prices here.

I do both pre-existing characters and OCs, as well as pets.

If you want a larger picture (I do up to a4) than the examples set, want more than one character, or want full-body pictures, I AM happy to do that but I have not quite figured out how to price it yet. It would be very case-to-case, but I am happy to do it. Just let me know what you are looking for and I will make an estimation. (And no, just because you ask does not mean you have to buy, I very much understand if you go "well that's a bit much for my budget". No problem, completely understand, have a nice rest of your day.)

Good news! After doing the maths, I realised I could lower the prices even further-

So, yes. Moving from etsy to Ko-fi... messy. And I was (am) really nervous about losing all my good ratings and reviews (though they are still visible if you look at my etsy page, I think?), making no sells at all, etc... and yes that is still a worry.

However. After taking a closer look at the numbers once I made a sale and seeing that the cut paypal takes is slightly smaller than I anticipated, I have now lowered the prices :)

(I also want to point out that the shipping fee is per order, NOT per item.)

Going to reblog and add (since it is a bit unclear and pictures don't always tell the truth)- The beads I use are a mix of glass, ceramic, stone, volcanic rock, jaspers, agates, quartz, tiger's eye... uhm I'm actually not 100% on everything because I did not pay attention when I bought them, I just went on "this looks good, I like this one!".

So no, it's not just cheap plastic. I wanted to go for quality, that is why they cost a bit more.
