Giada Greggi has been given the 2019 'Golden Girl' award. The award is given to the brightest young prospect in Italy who is under the age of 21. Given her performances as of late (including scoring an absolute stunner in the European qualifier against Malta), she most definitely merits this.
Last year’s winner was Benedetta Glionna. And if there’s any takeaways from this (aside from the fact that these two women are really good players), it’s that the future is indeed, bright for Italy.
