On a happier note - Vero Boquete has signed a contract renewal with AC Milan 😊
Vero Boquete's first two goals for Milan • Milan vs Inter
Roma went wild with these goals against Inter:
a backheel goal (Thomas), a one-two with a header (Swaby asst. Thomas), one from outside the box (Ciccotti), and a bicycle kick (Banusic asst. Serturini)
Also, to the Utah Royals fans:
I also asked Verónica Boquete about how she feels about the Utah Royals being bought and relocated to Kansas City.
Her exact words on the matter:
‘I’m really sad about the situation, it’s crazy that this is really happening. And it’s hard for me to understand because this will never happen in Europe.’
‘I’m sorry for the fans, for the club staff, for all the players... We built something great in Utah and those memories will last forever. My time playing for the Royals it’s unforgettable and a part of me will be always in Utah.’
As you can see, she was pretty saddened by the move.
I also spoke to her agent and he told me that they had a good relationship with the Utah Royals organization. There was also a real possibility of her going back to the team (after her time with Milan ends), as they were in discussions for a contract renewal with them. This was, however, before the team was taken over by a different organization and relocated to Kansas City.
Now, I don’t know if that possibility still exists. (It seems less likely now, but never say never.)
I just wanted to let you know that Veró still thinks highly of the Royals and their fanbase and has fond memories of her time in Utah.
And I figured that in light of everything else, that I’d let you know this just so you can have some small comfort in the midst of this turmoil.
Find comfort in knowing that Vero still loves you, no matter what.
I've been busy lately and haven't been posting much. However, I have a good reason for this. It's because I've been busy working on things like this! Recently, I got to interview Vero Boquete and ask her a few questions about her move to Milan. We also spoke about the joys of Arrigo Sacchi’s Milan, the growth of women’s football in Spain, and how she wants to help women’s football grow in Italy too.
I'm also so grateful and honored to Vero for speaking with me and for answering my questions. Please, give this a read if you're so inclined!

I rarely post transfer rumors here, but - if this happens, I may start crying.
