"Seeing my Italy shirt at the Football Museum at Coverciano is just so emotional. They’re living memories. I put my all my heart, courage, determination and the strength behind this shirt to believe in a dream, which came true."
Alia Guagni, who plays for Atlético Madrid, visited the Football Museum and took a moment to linger in front of her jersey, which can be found in the section dedicated to the Women’s National Team.
The shirt on display is her number seven shirt, worn for the 2019 World Cup in France.
Guagni said that "when the anthem starts, the shivers kick in and you feel so much pride. You're wearing your country's shirt, you know you're representing your country and you're taking to the pitch for all our fans."
She continued: "It’s a special feeling to think that all the many families who visit the Football Museum at Coverciano stop by to see our National Team players’ shirts. I was especially touched by a grandfather at the Museum who told his granddaughter about our World Cup journey".

Atlético Madrid are into the final of the Supercopa Femenina after a tense shootout.
The winning goal was scored by none other than our very own Alia Guagni.

Alia Guagni and Atlético Madrid have won the first ever Derbi Madrileño between the women today! The team won 1-0 thanks to an early strike by Merel van Dongen. Guagni played the full match and was particularly effective in containing Real Madrid's Marta Cardona. She completely neutralized the midfielder and Guagni was one of the standouts of the match.

Atlético Madrid defeated Champions League debutantes Servette 4-2. Alia Guagni played the full match and almost scored a spectacular goal at the 43rd minute.
The next match will be on the 15th at the Wanda Alcalá de Henares.
