I sat down wanting to draw Kilowog but then it turned into a general reaction to today’s episode “Cold Fury.” IF YOU DON’T LIKE KILOWOG THEN YOU have a valid opinion but I still strongly suggest you reconsider.

Did the voice of Jolee Bindo, which I think many would agree that besides HK, was probably the best character to come out of KOTOR. Certainly the most balanced and neutral Jedi we have ever been presented. BAMF all around. He was also the Narrator in the very awesome, but you probably haven’t see it, Clerks Cartoon. Deserves some love.

He probably would have been a terrifying instructor to face in hand-to-hand combat when Jordan was a rookie. I bet they spar once in a blue moon for old time’s sake, haha! Kilowog is a wonderful character, and his incarnation in GLTAS my all-time favorite.

For Kilowog week, y’poozers! 

This is so excellent. I am so glad that Kilowog week ( or is it Hal and Kilowog week??) is happening because one of the strongest elements of GLTAS is how EVERY character is special, unique and plays an important part! MOAR fanart of the other characters is needed. You've inspired me!!!

Kilowog and Razer fighting style guides!

Note that some of the rules I outlined above got changed as the series progressed.

I was really intrigued by the fact that Kilowog’s constructs made an extra loud sound in the comics.  Unfortunately it was an idea that got lost in the shuffle with all the other things we were figuring out early in the series.

Originally I wanted it to be very hard for Red Lanterns to make constructs if not impossible.  But as we started storyboarding, the fights were getting very mundane and repetitive.  The GL’s kept making constructs only to have them broken by the Reds.  Later we fudged that rule, which is why you see them make weapons occasionally.  I think Razer even makes a wrench at some point.
