Arrow - Seeing Red

Spoiler Alert. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Season two of Arrow has been really good for the most part. All that's left is the season finale next week, Unthinkable, which I am really looking forward to. This episode had a lot of things going for it–some events that have been hinted at all season and others that are foreshadowing what's to come. 

Sara getting the name the Canary for one, was indicated (I believe) at the beginning of this season. One of the African pirates mumbled in french under his breath calling her that. It's nice to have it official though. 

I knew Sebastian Blood was going to die. It was only a matter of time. Blood has been a pawn since the beginning of his relationship with Slade and it only became more obvious to the viewer as this season went on. Even though he tried to redeem himself a bit by giving the Mirakuru cure to Oliver, it doesn't make up for what he has done. He's just as bad a Moira.

The other thing is I was not expecting Malcom to come back and save Thea. I was not expecting her to shoot him either. I hope he isn't dead because I think it could make for some interesting plot points later on.

Hopefully with next week's episode we will finally see the conclusion of the Slade and Oliver Island Saga which has been a little stretched out in my opinion. I am ready to see how he shot Slade in the eye with an arrow.

I do have some questions dealing with the island though. 1) After being shot, how did Slade get off the island? Clearly he got off before Oliver did or else he couldn't have built up his little empire of cronies. 2) Since Oliver knows Russian and is part of the Russian gang, is his next adventure going to be with the Russian guy? 3) At this point, Sara and Oliver are still together on the island. When do they become separated? 4) How long have they been on the island at this point? I am a little confused by the time table.
