In the Libyan coastal city of Sirte, ISIS kidnapped 20 foreign doctors and nurses on Monday afternoon as they were waiting for a bus to take them to Tripoli. According to reports from various Arab media, the hostages are mostly Filipinos, but among them there are also Indians, Serbs and Ukrainians.
Praying for those kidnapped and I hope ISIS doesn’t behead them like the rest of the hostages they have taken. Maybe if the world ISIS as a more serious threat, we could finally eliminate them. Because this will keep happening until we do.

Gov. Jerry Brown just signed a law requiring that California health care providers be trained to better understand the specific health needs of the LGBT community.
People, there are only two biological sexes: male and female. When you get treated for your health (not mental health), you are treated on a biological level. Even if you identify as transsexual or any of the other available gender categories, the doctor can't treat you for that because you are still male or female according to your chromosome.
Forcing doctors to undergo LGBT sensitive training is a waste of their precious time when they could be treating someone with a real health problem, not one that is in their head. And even if he is sensitive to your gender, you still have to tell him if you were born XX or XY because they have different health problems which could be the difference between life or death for you.
