“I’m not a politician. I don’t want to be a politician, because, politicians do what is politically expedient, and I want to do what is right.”
- Dr. Benjamin Carson
The biggest sham of this election is the claim of these candidates professing to be “political outsiders” while running for President of the United States. This is the very definition of a politician. Just because you were a businessman in the private sector does not change that. You are not somehow more noble just because you have not worked directly in government before.
How truly disappointing.
After he endorsed Trump I was pretty sure my respect for him couldn’t get any lower. But now I suppose it’s in the negative numbers.
Ben Carson (via brassers)
On the South Carolina Primary
Trump may have won, but tonight proved something that even he didn’t think would happen. He won only by 10%. Compared to what the polls have been saying, he did not wipe the floor with the other candidates, there is no landslide victory. In fact, he couldn’t not even get the 35% he won in New Hampshire. His numbers went down.
But what everyone should understand is that a vote for a lesser candidate it a vote for Trump. Every time you vote for Carson or Kasich, you are throwing away your party’s vote. Trump is not the candidate you want running on the Republican ticket, Trump is not the President you want running the greatest nation on Earth, and you most certainly don’t want Trump to know the codes to the nukes because God forbid he has a bad day. In short, Trump is nothing more than an overplayed Trump card whose joke candidacy stopped being funny 3 months ago.
Who should you being voting for? Marco Rubio. I know that for some reason people are still apprehensive about supporting him, but when it comes down to Trump vs. Clinton or Rubio vs. Clinton, be honest with yourself–who has the better chance of winning? The answer is Rubio. Oh, you can tell yourself Trump if it pleases your conscience, but the reality is Trump can’t be taken serious, and if he is the Republican candidate, we will be nothing more than a laughing stock for America and the rest of the world, and Clinton will win by a landslide. Rubio is the only candidate who can take down Clinton.
Now that Jeb Bush has dropped out of the race, Cruz and Kasich need to follow suit. Imagine if they had all dropped out and it was between Trump and Rubio. Trump would maybe shoot up to 40%, but Rubio would take 60%. Which would mean he received the delegates, he would be the candidate of the GOP. The rest of the Republican candidates should throw their support behind Rubio, suck up their pride, and actually think of the good of their nation and not just of their legacy.
Carson shows he does not have the common sense necessary to lead the nation.
Ben Carson’s answer on immigration was actually intelligible and well-put.
“You’re not going to hear a lot of polished political speech from me.”
These might be the truest words Ben Carson has ever spoken.
Any thoughs about Ben Carson and Rand Paul?
That it’s sad they haven’t dropped out yet.
Because I don’t think I can stand listening to how much he doesn’t know about politics one more time.
Krauthammer: Ben Carson Clearly Doesn’t Know Anything About Foreign Policy
Charles, don’t hold back, tell us how you really feel.
Among other things Trump has started comparing Ben Carson to a child molester.
You know, I am no fan of Carson…but there are lines, even in politics, that you never cross.
This is when Trump is down by a couple points. Can you imagine what this man will start doing when he’s down by 5 points? By 10? A man this unstable cannot be allowed near the nuclear launch codes.
Also Carson should immediately file for slander.
Krauthammer: Jeb Will Be ‘Dead Man Walking’ with Another Bad Debate
Holy Shit. That actually was a legitimate question after all…
Most of this article is what a piece of shit this company is, but here is the relevant sentence
Yet Carson’s interactions with the company continued until at least March 2014, almost five years after the suit was settled, and a decade after the company’s marketing practices had first begun to come into question.
Ben Carson should listen to his statements after the debate.
Maybe then he could his speaking skills.
Ben Carson should stop speaking and just become a mime.
Every time he opens his mouth it’s a mistake.
I don’t understand why people are impressed by Dr. Carson. He is too soft spoken to lead and whenever questioned, he backs down on his position.
