late-night thought: in syzoth's tower ending, we get a glimpse of other zaterrans, and they're all wearing some sort of clothing
but in syzoth's zaterran form, he has no clothes
it probably isn't an issue with his abilities, as he is able to retain clothing on his human form when shapeshifting between his forms. so he is just straight up naked as a zaterran
this implies two possibilities:
a veeeery fast syzoth doodle from memory
doodle idea, ashrah but she stole syzoths green leather hoodie thingie he wears as his main outfit in mk1
i had to dissect his outfit to draw this and even then im not sure if i got it right... oh well
when you envision angelscales having their first kiss, what scenario or headcanon(s) come to mind for you?
hmmm. i think regardless of the events leading up to it (just hanging out, angsty stuff, etc) it’d only ever happen in an environment where they’re both alone/away from other people. from what i’ve gathered of their canon personalities, i can’t see ashrah or syzoth being comfortable enough to initiate a first kiss in front of a bunch of people lol… they’d probably get more comfortable with PDA down the line but not immediately
a specific scenario that’s been dancing around my head (and that i’m actually writing a fic for, not that this matters because while i do write i rarely share my work 💀) is that they both go to some crazy party johnny invited them to — ashrah went because she’s curious about earthrealm culture & parties, syzoth went knowing he’d hate it but he didn’t have anything else going on — and they end up sneaking away from the main event because Jesus Christ, This Is Overwhelming. the two hide in a secluded spot together and start talking about random stuff. one thing leads to another, something in the air or the energy between them just kinda… shifts & they have their first kiss that night. they don’t immediately start dating after that, but that kiss is what sparks the chain reaction that leads to ashrah & syzoth being together romantically.
…they wouldn’t ever tell johnny this though because the knowledge they had their first kiss at his party would probably just boost the guy’s ego LMAO
(i also enjoy the idea of them first kissing after a really rough battle or near-death experience; in this scenario they’d both been dancing around each other for a while now but had been hesitant to make a move for a variety of reasons. but ashrah and syzoth seeing each other bloody/bruised yet still breathing & alive just makes any reservations disappear as they fall into each other’s arms for the first of many times. im a simple man, i like when my ships go through hell & it brings them together)
